Honoring the creative voice
welcome to Writing With Soul
“WWS welcomes those who identify as a writer who are writing a piece of any genre and size, a musician trying to write lyrics for a song, an actor trying to express a story and an artist just trying to find their voice.
We welcome the educated and uneducated and those who don’t feel they are a writer but just know they have a story to tell. We invite soul seeking humans of any age because our souls are ageless. We believe in the art of resonance and that all can learn from and spark each other no matter where we are in our individual creative journeys.
As much as art can be a solo action, we sometimes aren’t able to reach our fullest expression without a catalyst, mentor or muse. And without others who recognize, know how to encourage and help keep us accountable to our stories and dreams. WWS is a space designed for creatives and writers to cultivate and help us accomplish all of this.”

WHAT is Writing With Soul?
“In a world where the written word is being drowned out by noise and artificial intelligence, WWS is fighting for the sinking ship of language, story and soul. Not all writers write with soul. Not all writers have a devoted writing practice and knowledge of the craft. Not all storytelling artists have a clear channel.
WWS offers a space to balance, guide and educate in both the internal work and external crafting of a storyteller to help strengthen our creative muscles and trust in ourselves as artists in this ever-changing technological world. It takes inner work to step more into our higher selves and become a divine creative vessel.
We combine some traditional crafting with alternative tools and studies for a storyteller. We dive into theatre, acting, astrology, tarot, music, meditation, sound, somatic and shamanic journeys, sometimes in collaborative spaces with other practitioners, through workshops, writing circles, retreats and individual mentoring.”

the vision of Writing With Soul
WWS is a beacon of writers and creatives, locally on the Oregon Coast and beyond, who feel there’s more than conventional education and crave a soulful, community‑rooted path to growth and publication.
We envision:
A living community of writers, creatives and holistic wellness practitioners who see themselves as lighthouses, teaching and uplifting one another.
An ecosystem of offerings that support writers and storytellers from first curiosity to any inner struggles to outward creative expressions and finished works of different art forms.
Waves & Words emerging as a beloved platform for sharing stories, poetry, and a collective of voices from the unique and vibrant Oregon Coast.
Events such as readings and performances held throughout the community to inspire and help bring us together.
Writing With Soul recognized as a model of alternative education that blends craft, spiritual depth, healing, and community impact.
A HiGHER PURPOSE
“Writers rising up with creative voices are the leaders that can help shift the collective consciousness into a new earth higher vibration at this crucial hour in a fractured humanity.
How do we as creatives step into a higher vibration and help usher in this new wave of collective energy that has the potential to heal humanity? We bring it inward by connecting to our souls and something even bigger. And then we embody our individual higher selves, power and purposes. We stop relying on the external sources, institutions, technology and organizations for our happiness, health, expression and fulfillment. We heal and tune our voices with internal work often missed in creative crafting.
When we are individually in a high vibe, we are listening to our intuitive and a higher voice, our creative channel is clear, and we flow with focus, authenticity and purpose. We help heal ourselves and manifest. We are magnets in co-creation and can make our higher dreams in come true. This ultimately helps others, even in an energetic ripple effect, to do the same.
WWS is a space for guided rituals and practices to support this.”
