What does wws bring to the oregon coast?
It brings writers of all genres together in community to support each other.
It gives holistic, spiritual and wellness practitioners another opportunity to be involved and serve our community.
It gives writers and creatives deeper work for integration and embodiment of our craft.
It provides a way for our stories to be shared with a platform for publication through Words and Waves and other potential avenues.
It acts as a historian and documents the narratives of this living and timeless culture of the Oregon Coast.
It honors and pays tribute to the Coast and how she has held and inspired us all.
Opportunities for collaboration
Along with guidance in traditional crafting, we also use alternative tools and studies for a storyteller. If you are a practitioner focused on theatre, acting, astrology, tarot, meditation, sound, somatic and shamanic journeys, or other valuable tools we would love to partner with you through a variety of avenues such as workshop sessions and retreats.
If you are interested in getting in touch, please fill out this form. I would love to collaborate with you and serve our community together.
the coastal callings of creatives
“The Oregon Coast is an incredible magnet for creatives and spiritual souls who venture here, many times for our healings in some way, because the Oregon Coast has a powerful, vibrant and elevating energy. Many of us have remarkable stories of our healing journeys on the coast.
WWS provides a channel for those stories, regardless of what genre they are transcribed in. Writing is a valuable tool in one’s healing journey. Many have been inspired to write our works overlooking the cliffs of our breathtaking and one of a kind coast and in the depths of the woods of her beating heart.
The world at this time needs more collaborative community spaces for artists to shine our lights and to help us become a success in what we deep down know we are here to do…tell our stories and use our creative voices.
The Oregon Coast is known for its lighthouses whose purpose is to guide others home. As individuals, when we plug into what lights us up - that’s when we become a light-worker and lighthouse.
Creatives are the voice of this special place and as artists we can serve as a lighthouse for others in these turbulent times. If more of us stepped into our higher purpose and what lights us up, what gives us energy, we can help raise the vibration energetically to help heal this world - just like many others before us have helped raised the vibration of this eternal coast.”
